We made it to Florida! Orlando is stop two of three, and I’m officially in the homestretch of this move. After a whirlwind of packing, lifting, and logistical madness, we managed to get everything into the pod successfully—and now I’m here, catching my breath for a week while I wait for everything to arrive.
It was a little bittersweet saying goodbye to Austin (for now). While I’m not quite ready to call it a final farewell—my stuff is still there!—it was a meaningful moment of transition. I have a feeling I’ll be back in the fall… and maybe even catch F1 for the first time.
I’ve got one week of (hopefully) rest before the next round begins: helping my mom unpack. And after that? Europe!
My next stop is Greece, specifically the island of Crete, where I’ll be spending the entire month—and celebrating my birthday. 🇬🇷✨ This will also mark the longest stretch of time I’ve spent outside the U.S. and the closest I’ve come to fully maxing out my tourist visa (hello, 90-day limit). While I won’t be in one place the whole time, it’s surreal to realize how far this journey has taken me.
And as I think about finding a home base next year, I’m holding onto this belief: anything is possible. What started as a five-week trip has turned into a lifestyle—and the idea that I could eventually build a more permanent base somewhere abroad feels more real than ever.
I’m also looking forward to diving back into writing. You may remember I started working on my memoir-style novel recently. I’ve got the whole story mapped out, and my goal is to finish it this summer. The past few weeks have been chaos (hard to write when you're surrounded by moving boxes), but I’m ready to reset and get back into creative flow.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed I haven’t posted much lately—and that’s because I haven’t exactly been living my “Digital Nomad Blueprint” life. No glamorous reels. No travel girl confidence. Just real life, in transition. But that’s part of the journey too.
Content is kicking into high gear this summer, and I’ll be launching a few new signature series I’m really excited about. From travel diaries to personal reflections, it’s all part of this next chapter.
So be sure to stay tuned, especially as I start a new adventure abroad once again. As you all know, it’s always a dash of spontaneity, a sprinkle of peace and serenity, and a little something inspiring for anyone who’s finding their own rhythm.
As we head into Memorial Day Weekend—often seen as the unofficial start of summer—I hope you’re doing something that makes you feel at ease. Whether you’re traveling, barbecuing, or staying home, may you find a little joy and a little peace.
This week’s reminder:
Sometimes the most important part of the journey isn’t the destination, it’s learning how to keep moving forward—especially when things feel messy or uncertain.
If you found this helpful or uplifting, feel free to share it with a friend or two. There’s so much more I can’t wait to share with you this summer.
With love,
Sherita 💫
